Welcome!
Hello, NeoGal, and welcome to Wikipedia! There's a great community here, so get stuck in right away! Before you start, here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
It may seem a bit daunting at the moment, but don't worry, and don't be embarassed if you make mistakes - it's all part of being a Wikipedian! And whenever you post a comment on a talk page, remember to sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); this will sign your message along with the time. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or just add {{helpme}}
to your talk page and someone will show up and help you out. Again, welcome! Dr Santa - talk 20:52, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

How to edit a page
The place to start would probably be Wikipedia:Introduction, which leads you through doing everything. Once you know how to do stuff, it's really easy. I'm new to Wikipedia as well, but I think I can do everything now. If you just want to get your teeth in, go to Wikipedia:How to edit a page, which explains all the different codes you need to use, like for links, images, bold text, italic text and so on. Have fun! ;-) Dr Santa - talk 19:18, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
