Nelson Abeijón

Nelson Abeijón nickname Abe (born in Montevideo, July 21, 1973) is an Uruguayan football (soccer) player in midfielder role.
Started career in 1994 with Nacional Montevideo (when he won one title championship) and in 1998 he played in Spain La Liga with Racing de Santander. From 1999 he played in Italian Serie A and Serie B with Cagliari and Como. In summer 2006 he transfer at Atalanta. In career he played 282 matches and scored 23 goals.
In Uruguayan First Division played 71 matches and scored 6 goals; in Spanish Liga played 30 matches and scored 2 goals; in Serie B played 100 matches and scored 6 goals; in Serie A played 71 matches and scored 6 goals.
