Nejime, Kagoshima

Nejime (根占町; -chou) was a town located in Kimotsuki District, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.

In 2003, the town had an estimated population of 6,758 and a density of 76.74 persons per km². The total area was 88.06 km².

On March 31, 2005, Nejime merged with the town of Sata to form the new town of Minamiosumi.
