Neil MacFarquhar

Neil MacFarquhar is an Arabic-speaking, former Cairo bureau chief for The New York Times who is the national correspondent for the Times based in San Francisco, California as of November 2006.[1]

MacFarquhar went to elementary school in Libya. A number of his stories for the newspaper are about Muslims in the United States.[1]
