Neil Allen Balme (born January 15, 1952 in Perth, Western Australia) is a former Australian rules football player who played in the VFL between 1969 and 1979 for the Richmond Football Club.

Balme was one of football's wild men, a man mountain who often threw his weight around resulting in numerous tribunal appearances.

He was later a coach of Norwood Football Club, SANFL and Melbourne Football Club in the AFL.

Balme was Football Operations Manager for the Collingwood Football Club from 1998 to 2006, before being appointed in the same role at Geelong.
