Neighborhoods of Miami, Florida

This is a list of neighboorhoods of the City of Miami in the U.S. state of Florida . They are used by the city of Miami, usually for planning purposes. Each of the Neighboorhoods has an office to help improve the neighboorhoods. These offices are managed by the NET (neighboorhood enhancment team).

Downtown is located in East central Miami and includes all the islands of Miami. It is the central business district of Miami.

Overtown is located in the central part of the city of Miami. Overtown is bounded by NW 5th Street to the South, NW 20th Street to the North, the FEC Corridor and NW 1st Avenue to the East, and NW 7th Avenue to the West.

Allapattah is located in the central part of the city of Miami.

Little Haiti is located in the north-central area of Miami. Little Haiti is bounded to the north, 85th Street, to the west, Miami Avenue, to the east, Biscayne Boulevard (U.S. Route 1), and to the south, Northeast 36th Street (US 27).

Model City is located in North-Western Miami.

Upper Eastside is located in North-Eastern Miami.

Wynwood/Edgewater is located in East-Central Miami. Midtown Miami is also located here.

Little Havana is located in central Miami. It is settled mostly by cuban refugeees.

Flagami is located in western Miami. It is commonly defined as the area between Flagler Street and the Tamiami Trail west of 57th Avenue (Red Road) =West Flagler= West flagler is in Southern Miami.

Coral Way is in Southern Miami.
[edit] Coconut Grove
Coconut Grove is located in Soutern tip of Miami. It is split into two sections, North-East and South-West coconut grove.
