[edit] Biography
The band was started by Hupogrammos Disciple's (Vocals, Guitars) and Negru (Drums). After releasing the first demo From Transilvanian Forests as Wiccan Rede, the band changed the band name to Negură Bunget which means "black foggy forest" in archaic Romanian. In June 1995 in Buzău, Negură Bunget had the first live performance. The first album, Zîrnindu-să was recorded in October 1996 and it was released by Bestial Records at the end of 1996. In December 1998 Negura Bunget released a new mini-album called Sala Molksa. The album was recorded between June-August 1998 and it was released by Bestial Records. With the addition of the 3rd official member, Spurcatu the 5 tracks of Sala Molksa unveiled a more complex, aggressive sound. After this, the band started to have concerts all over the Europe releasing Măiastru Sfetnic in 2000. Măiastru Sfetnic also led the band to sign a new 3 album contract with Italian label code666 records. In June 2002 the band entered the studio again to record the 4th album named 'N Crugu Bradului. The 4 tracks of the album, combining a total of 54 minutes of play, represents the 4 seasons of the year. In 2005 the band released the EP called Inarborat Kosmos. After many months of waiting, the new album OM was released 27 October 2006.
