Neda Parmać
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Neda Parmać (born 1985 in Ploče, Croatia) is a Croatian and Bosnian singer, best known as a member of Feminnem girl band.
Neda Parmać took dance lessons at an early age. At the age of 13 she performed as member of Kompas band.
In 2004 she joined the Hrvatski idol (Croatian version of Pop Idol) competition. She won the audience over with her self-confident approach and ability to improvise, best seen in her rendition of Michael Jackson's Beat It, when she continued to perform despite forgetting the lyrics. She finished third, much to the displeasure of large sections of the Croatian public, which considered her superior to the show's winner Žanamari Lalić.
Later, together with two other finalists, she joined Feminnem.
Neda Parmać is considered one of the most outspoken musical performers of her generation and after the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 she criticised the public from Croatia proper for not supporting her band.
