The NEC µPD780C was a fully compatible version of the original NMOS version of the ZiLOG Z80 processor. The compatibility included undocumented instructions and other undocumented features. NEC µPD780C was, among other things, used in both the ZX80, the ZX81 and in the original versions of the ZX Spectrum.
