I have owned a Neo, and must laud the author of this text; quite accurate description of the temperament. These dogs are a real treat to own (the attention you will get), but every Neo I met (including mine) was gloriously unintelligent. Certainly, my Neo knew her stuff when it came to guarding and security, but not very brilliant in other departments. If you expose a Neo to elements such as cats and children at a young age, it will never harm either as an adult, even if teased.
