From NCRP- You told me to email you premission to reuse the text from the organization's website - from an ncrp email - I did. And you still removed the information...I don't understand why the information was removed when I did what you told me to to verify that the information was directly from NCRP?!?! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 141.156.197.40 (talk • contribs) .
NCRP (NEW QUERY AND ISSUE!) I see you removed the logo and spelled UNITED wrong in YOUR OWN definition of the organization...I would appreciate it if you spelled the word correctly and let me know what it is I have to do to use MY JOB'S logo on the entry? Thanks NCRP
LAST ENTRY CONTINUED... I entered my own version of what NCRP is and removed the version you placed in there for me. Therefore the mispelled word was removed. I still would like to know what happend to the logo?!?!?!?!?!?!?
[edit] National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy
I see you copied some text from other sources. Please do not do that. You are violating the copyright of your own organization. Please reword the article in your own words and use some less advertising speak. - Mgm|(talk) 16:21, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- Please remember that allowing Wikipedia to reuse the material is not enough. Material posted to Wikipedia will need to be free to distribute by anyone for any purpose (including commercial ones). The text needs to be released under a free license like the GFDL. Also, we have a neutral point of view policy. We strive to report on subjects objectively. The aim of your organization is to gain support and have people support it. The text written for the NCRP probably isn't suitable for encyclopedic purposes. Rewriting things in your own words with Neutral point of view in mind will make it a better encyclopedia article. - Mgm|(talk) 14:18, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Ncrplogo.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Ncrplogo.gif. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr.) 21:25, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
