National Conference on Mathematical and Computational Models -(NCMCM) is a national level applied mathematics conference organised by Department of Mathematics and Computer Applications, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India every second year. It is a national level technical conference sponcered by DRDO, Ministry of HRD and PSG Institutions. The conference attracts large number of original technical papers from all over India and world. The conference is open to academia as well as to industry.
The next conference is due to take place on December 2007.

[edit] Topics of interest
Mathematical models are all about designing a model which closely studies or replicates the behaviour of real world working models. In that sense, the topic of interest is not limited. But papers on Fluid dynamics, Mechanics, Stochastic process, Queueing theory, Number theory, Graph theory, Data mining, Neural network and Artificial intelligence are accepted.
[edit] NCMCM 2001
The event was first started in 2001. The inagural conference lasted for 2 days, 27 and 28 December. The organising secretary was Dr.P.R.Kandasamy. The invited talk included faculties from IIT Bombay, IIT Madras and Anna University. The first edition saw more than 100 technical reports presented in the six sessions.

For the second edition the organising secretary was Dr.G.Arulmozhi. The event lasted from 11 December to 12 December 2003. Prof. Dinesh Kumar from IIM Calcutta was the chief guest.
[edit] NCMCM 2005
The third edition was the successful of all. The organising secretary was Dr. R. Arumuganathan. From 15 December to 16 December 2005, the sessions were named after famous mathematicians like Andrey Markov, G H Hardy and Ramanujan, to name a few. In this edition more than 114 techincal papers were presented. The special guest was Prof. Jesus Artelageo from spain. And a special panel discussion on bridging the gap between theory and practice was conducted. Top mathematicians like Dr. Krishna moorthy (Cochin University), Dr. Krishna Kumar (Anna University), Prof Dan Kannan (Georgia Tech) and Dr. Dharma Raja (IIT Delhi) participated.
