From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I am an opponent of Nazism and neo-Nazism. I am 25 years old and I'm from Washington DC in the United States. In 1999, I moved from Romania with some knowledge of English and a smattering of Russian. I lost one of my parents in the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake. My three-year-old son's favorite show on TV is Boohbah. And PLEASE don't create an account named NazismIsCool, because it's not.
[edit] Biography
- Name: Julia Radescu Jnr.
- Sex: Female
- Star sign: Sagittarius
- Birthdate: November 24, 1980
- Birthplace: Bucharest, Romania (however I grew up in Timisoara.)
- Religion: Romanian Orthodox
- Best subject when I was at school: Russian - it's written in a different alphabet.
- Worst subject when I was at school: Physical education - it was fun until I kept spraining my ankle during the practicals and I quit at the first opportunity.
- Names of siblings: I have a 28-year-old brother called Petru who is in Kazakhstan, a 22-year-old sister called Emilia who is in London, and a 19-year-old brother called Ion who is still in Romania at the moment.
- Weirdest thing I've ever done: Bungee jump in the fountain in Unirii Boulevard (on holiday in Bucharest.) This was when I was 8. Apparently Nicolae Ceausescu's government couldn't get you for it.
- Favorite food: McDonalds (even a good-mannered Wikipedian has to eat fatty food - I miss the fast service they had in Romania when I was in intermediate)
- Favorite drink: Socata (even a Romanian in Washington DC knows when and when not to be Romanian :-))
- Favorite song: Anything by Britney Spears - she's not Romanian but I don't care
- Favorite song by a Romanian band or artist: Anything by B.U.G. Mafia
- Favorite TV show: South Park (I liked the one with the Romanian quintuplets - that brought back memories, despite saying those nasty things about my country.)
- Favorite movie: New York Minute - it's a lot better than the 80s crap like Flashdance (however, Flashdance had the best theme song ever)
- Article which I consider to be the funniest: User:Node ue/German language. That was put up on April Fool's day. How can the only word in a language describe some event that hasn't happened yet? Also, the article mentioned Swahili. The only Swahili I know is a couple of swear-words in that language, one of them roughly translating into a threat.
- What I first thought of America: They had the windows open in summer - at least it was a little cooler in the room despite my first thought that my aunt and uncle were bringing sickness upon us.
Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't have a user account on ro:.
[edit] Did you know...
- ...that I am not a sock puppet - and I'm not stupid enough to create one.
- ...that I have a slight communist slant, considering I was born in a former communist country (which was communist at the time?)
- ...that I have some genetic disease which means I've already lost two thirds of my peripheral vision?
- ...that Romania DOESN'T suck?
- ...that ducks go quack?
- ...that I'm not a skiver, so don't go round spreading your lies here.
- ...that I haven't attended church for 4 years?
- ...that I have absolutely no relation to vandals who have been using my user-name?
[edit] Prayer to Jimbo Wales
I bless Jimbo Wales this day as he provides us with the gift of the Wikipedia, our fix of NPOV and accuracy, and easy clean-up of the mess left by our enemies. We will fight against Willy on Wheels, the autofellatio redirecter, Wikipedia is Communism, and any doppelgangers of our names.
