Nazar: Nazar is a Hebrew word which means literally, to consecrate or dedicate, to devote oneself, to keep sacredly separate. It is used in the Bible in Numbers 6:2 "to separate themselves unto the Lord". This primarily is in regards to a spiritual aspect a solemn dedication.
