[edit] Philly

There didn't seem to be that many ships left in Philly, when I flew past last time (June '06). Is it being closed out? Is this list out of date?--J Clear 00:38, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

I'm trying to find some official Navy information about these facilities, including a list of ships that are berthed there. Also, the External links section needs work. They don't really supply much information. Lou Sander 14:20, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

On 8/31/06 I got this email response to my inquiry:
The Navy has three Naval Sea Systems Command Inactive Ships On-site Maintenance Offices, one in Phiadelphia, one in Bremerton, and one in Pearl Harbor. These operate the Inactive Ships Mainteancen facilities in the James River, Va.; at Pearl Harbor; at Philadelphia; and at Suisun Bay, Calif.
