In the Pokémon universe, Navel Island (Japanese: ネーブル島 Navel Island) is a frictional island town in the Orange Archipelago.

In order to challenge the gym leader Danny, trainers must first climb up a mountain without the help of any Pokémon. The Second stage of the gym battle includes freezing a geyser and carving it into bodsled with the fastest speed. The last stage will include a bodsled race from the top of the mountain to the bottom of the gym. Any trainer who win two out of three will earn him/her the Sea Ruby Badge.
