Um, local plants often do not grow better than weeds or super-hardy cultivars (Oh how I wish this were not true........)Cas Liber 04:57, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vote for Merger with Wildflower garden

  • Support: the latter is clearly an American (and also Australian in some areas) term for a subtype of native or 'bush' garden. The subject of Native Gardening would be enriched by discussion of folk doing the same in different parts of the world and comparing on the same page rather tahn two or more stub-like pages. • OK: Not sure if it's strictly an american term, but they are pretty much the same thing (the only difference I can think of is that a wildflower garden tends to be herbaceous plants, rather than woody). "Prairie garden" might be a bit different too, since it attempts to mimic a specific type of ecology and uses different methods (such as fire). --SB_Johnny|talk|books 10:58, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
OK then -2 to 0 to merge in 2 weeks. Done and done.Cas Liber 09:00, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] merge proposal with Natural landscaping

Hi, I figured there's a large overlap between the two pages and a combined page would eventually have sufficient size and scope for a GA or FA....What do others think? cheers Cas Liber 06:05, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

    1. Support. There is a high degree of overlap. As Natural landscaping is the broader term this article could be swallowed up in its entirety onto that page. The only thing is I have not been aware of the term Natural landscaping. Cas Liber 10:14, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
