Natural History or (in Latin) Naturalis Historia may mean:

  • Natural history, the natural sciences
  • Naturalis Historia, an encyclopedic work by Pliny the Elder (1st century)
  • Natural History (Lonitzer), Adam Lonitzer's Natural History (16th century)
  • Robert Sibbald's Naturalis Historia Scotiae, also known as Scotia Illustrata sive Prodromus Historiae Naturalis (1684)
  • Natural History (magazine), a magazine on science and nature

  • A Natural History Group, which is often referred to as a trial's "third arm", is the name given to the group of subjects in a drug trial that receive no treatment of any kind whatsoever -- and, therefore, their condition is left to run its "natural" course -- and the observed outcomes with this group are compared with the outcomes manifested by a group that has been given the active drug, and that manifested by another group who have been given a dummy, placebo drug (thus, the "third arm").

Inflected Latin forms of the title, such as Naturalis Historiae (genitive case) may also be found.
