[edit] Plot

Kim tries to get Sam to eat all his vegetables, but he refuses. Kim tries bargaining with him. Greg says no bargaining, he has to eat all his vegetables or he doesn’t get ice cream. Dominic and Logan asks if they have to finish their vegetables. Jimmy says since he hates vegetables they do not have to eat theirs. Greg is reading Sam a book before he goes to bed. He is asleep when Logan runs in his room and asks Greg if he can hide in there. Greg says Sam is asleep when Logan points out that he is awake. Greg chases Logan out. Sam asks for another book, but Greg says it is past his bedtime. Dominic asks if anyone is in Sam’s room. Greg asks why they are still awake. Dominic says they weren’t tired so their daddy said they can play hide-an-seek. Sam asks to play, but Greg says no. Greg goes to put toys away in Sam’s toy chest and finds Jimmy hiding in there.

Kim asks Greg if he got Sam to sleep. Greg says it took awhile for him to settle down. Kim asks if there was a monster under his bed. Greg say no, idiot in the toy chest. Greg says Jimmy has no rules for his kids making it harder for Sam to listen. Kim says they each have their own set of rules. Greg says they own the house. Greg tells Jimmy & Christine that it is hard getting Sam to listen when he sees his cousins doing whatever they want. Jimmy says they have two different ways of raising their kids. Greg says he owns the house. Christine agrees with Kim and Greg. Jimmy says no one likes vegetables. He tells them a story about when he didn’t want to eat his lima beans so he shoved them in his pocket. Christine says it was last Friday.

The next night, Dominic and Logan asks Jimmy for ice cream before finishing their vegetables. Jimmy tells them to finish their vegetables first. They asks why. Jimmy says it’s Greg’s rules. Dominic and Logan walk out in protest. Greg tells Jimmy why he blamed him. He should have made it look like it was his rule. Christine say they know Jimmy wouldn’t do that. Kim, Emily, and Sam leave to eat in the living room. Jimmy says he thought they couldn’t eat in the living room. Kim says that rule was for him. Jimmy tells Greg to discipline Dominic and Logan if he can do a better job.

The next day, they are ready to leave for a movie when Dominic and Logan start fighting over a Game Boy. Greg takes it away and tells them to get in the car. Dominic complains, but Jimmy tells them that they are trying something new and Greg is in charge. In the parking lot of the movie theater, Dominic and Logan rip open a bag of cheetos. Jimmy offers to pick them up, but Greg says since Dominic and Logan ripped open the bag they can pick them up. They refuse. Greg says they’ll be in when Dominic and Logan pick up the cheetos. The movie is over and Dominic and Logan still hasn’t picked up the cheetos. Greg tells Kim they are not moving until the cheetos are picked up so they should take a taxi.

Greg is playing a tape in the stereo when the battery dies. He calls a tow truck to charge up his battery. The tow truck guys tells Greg that he can’t leave the radio on or the battery dies. Jimmy and Christine feel that they are not handling Dominic and Logan the right way. Greg leaves the car started with the radio running and runs out of gas. The tow truck guy returns with gas and tells Greg he can’t leave the car running without running out of gas. Jimmy calls Greg who is asleep and tells him it is midnight and the boys have to come home. Greg tells Dominic and Logan that they are returning to the exact same spot tomorrow. Greg attempts to leave the parking lot, but the gates are locked. He finally finds an open one, but they have tire spikes. Two tires blow out and the tow truck guy returns yet again and asks Greg if he didn’t see the sign or just didn’t believe it. Greg tells Jimmy that he can’t fix Dominic and Logan because they are broke. Jimmy and Christine figure out that Dominic and Logan’s behavior is genetics.
