National Committee on Urban Pest Control [NCUPC], organized by the Office of the President and duly registered with the Security & Exchange Commission [SEC], is composed of national agencies [DOH, DENR, DILG, DOT, DND, DepEd, CHED, TESDA, DPWH, MMDA, DTI, DAR, DOLE, DSWD, TAPI-DOST] and non-governmental organizations [Earthsavers Movement, Recycling Movement, FIS-CB, BCBP, MAPECON Philippines, etc.] in the Republic of the Philippines.

The NCUPC was created pursuant to the Memorandum of Agreement [MOA] signed by the Office of the President, the Metro Manila Commission, the Department of Labor & Employment and other government agencies and non-governmental organizationsd per Presidential Decree 856, 552 and 1096; 8 Court Rulings; and Health Circular 155 as strenghtened by Presidential Proclamation 990 on August 1991.

Its jurisdictions includes: registrationns of urban pesticides and registrations of pest control activities [as pest control applicators, operators and distributors] in residential, commercial and industrial establishments in the urban areas to protect the people against disease-transmitting pests and to protec homes and structures against wood damaging pests.

Hon. City Mayor Jose L. Atienza, Jr., Manila, is the current Chair; and Hon. DENR Sec. Angelo Reyes is the Co-Chairman.
