A national beauty contest is a pageant officialy registered & acknowledged by the Government of the country it is being held in. The recognition of a beauty contest is officialy expressed & approved usually by the Ministry of Tourism and/or culture.

The following are the registered national beauty contests in respective countries:

1. MISS AMERICAN SAMOA - (MASI) is run by Miss American Samoa Incorporation 2. MISS ARMENIA - is run by former Ministry of Culture Armenia
