National Wrestling Federation

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

National Wrestling Federation was a wrestling promotion based in Buffalo, New York and owned by promoter Pedro Martinez (no relation to the baseball player) which operated from 1970 to 1974. Some of wrestling's biggest names wrestled here, including Abdullah the Butcher, Ox Baker, Johnny Valentine, Ernie Ladd and others.

The titles were later used by New Japan Pro Wrestling as its main titles until 1981.
