The National Unity of Hope (Unidad Nacional de la Esperanza) is a political party in Guatemala. At the last legislative elections, 9 november 2003, the party won 17.9 % of the popular vote and 32 out of 158 seats. Its presidential candidate Álvaro Colom Caballeros won 26.4 % at the presidential elections of the same day and was defeated in the second round, where he got 45.9 %.
