National Hispanic University

The National Hispanic University, is a small, private university located in East San Jose, California. The university was founded in 1981 in Oakland, California. In 1990 the university opened a San Jose campus and moved to a larger facility in Oakland, and in 1994 closed both campuses and moved to a new campus in San Jose. The university has about 600 undergraduate students, and offers two associate degrees and three bachelor degrees, as well as single-subject teaching credentials.
