National Dinosaur Museum

The National Dinosaur Museum is the Southern Hemisphere's largest permanent display of prehistoric material. Located in Canberra, Australia it's exhibition follows the evolution of all life with a particular focus on dinosaurs. It is located at the historic Gold Creek Village, off the Barton Highway, approximately 15Km from Canberra City.
With an annual patronage of 55,000 visitors, it is ranked among the most popular attractions in Canberra. The Museum's gift shop stocks one of the best selections of fossils available and ships all over the world.
Established in 1993, the museum has been steadily improved and updated since its conception and currently offers palaeontology displays that keep up with the changes in the science.
