The National Democratic Congress is a liberal party in Grenada. The party was affiliated to the former Central American liberal organisation FELICA. In the last elections of 27 November 2003, the party won 45.6% of the popular vote and 7 of the 15 seats.
The party first gained power in 1983, when, following the United States's invasion of Grenada, the party's leader Nicholas Brathwaite was appointed prime minister. The party lost the 1984 elections, but returned to power in the 1990 elections, with Brathwaite as prime minister. It lost power in the 1995 elections, which occurred shortly after Brathwaite's resignation.
