The National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) is a national non-profit organization composed of engineering and land surveying licensing boards representing all U.S. states and territories [1]

The NCEES is responsible for the administration of the exams that engineers must pass in order to get their Professional Engineer certification. These include:
In addition, the NCEES assists with record keeping for those engineers who already have this certification.

NCEES also prepares examinations for Land Surveyor licensing in the United States. These exams consist of:
- The Fundamentals of Land Surveying exam, also known as FLS or SIT (Surveyor-In-Training) exam
- The Principles and Practice of Land Surveying exam - which is also typically accompanied by a jurisdiction-specific exam.
