The National Civil War Naval Museum is located in Columbus, Georgia. Its exhibits include the remains of the CSS Chattahoochee and the CSS Muscogee (also known as the CSS Jackson), which were recoved from the bed of the Chattahoochee River in the 1960s. Other exhibits include full-scale models of parts of three other civil war-era warships, and flags, uniforms, weapons and nautical equipment. As of 2006, the museum is raising funds for construction of a full scale model of the USS/CSS Water Witch.
