The National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus is the bicameral parliament that governs the Eastern Europe country of Belarus. The two chambers that make up the National Assembly are the following:
- Council of the Republic- The upper chamber
- House of Representatives- The lower chamber
While each chamber has specific duties they have been charged to enforce, both chambers have the ability to veto local laws that deviate from the Constitution of Belarus.
