Parliament has two chambers. The National Assembly of Cambodia (Radhsphea ney Preah Recheanachakr Kampuchea) is one of the chambers of the Parliament. It has has 123 members, elected for a five year term by proportional representation, using provinces as constituencies of 1 to 18 members, and the D'Hondt method of seat distribution. The Senate (Sénat) is one of the chambers of Parliament. The Senate has 61 members, appointed by the king on recommendation of the parties in the National Assembly of Cambodia.
