The National Alliance Party is a political party in Papua New Guinea. Its leader is the current Prime Minister, Michael Somare, who formed it in 1995 after resigning from the Pangu Party. It took 19 of 109 seats in the National Parliament of Papua New Guinea at the 2002 election, making it the largest single party.
