Nathanael or Nathaniel can refer to:
- In the New Testament, Nathanael is a Galilean called by Christ to be a disciple, see John 1:45-50 and 21:2. Most authorities regard him as the same man who is called Bartholomew in Acts 1:13 and in the Synoptic Gospels, see Bartholomew, Bar.
- American Revolution hero Nathanael Greene
- Nathaniel is a character in Jonathan Stroud's The Bartimaeus Trilogy.
