Nathan Tasker

Nathan Tasker (born 1975) is a Christian pop artist from Sydney, Australia.

Nathan Tasker is one of Australia's prominent Christian singer/songwriters. Convicted by the gospel, as well as the value of the creative arts, he has dedicated his gifts to sharing Christ with the world.

Nathan made a commitment to Christ in his mid-teens. A short time later he utilised his love of music to write his early songs. On top of regular practice on the acoustic guitar, Nathan spends much of his spare time reading and relating with family and friends.

Ever since his first public performance in 1993, Nathan has been engaged in a full-time kingdom-building career, through writing, singing and speaking. Over this period he has completed approximately 1200 performances, and has ministered to many thousands of people.

He has written, recorded and produced several gospel albums, which are acclaimed for their clear presentations of biblical truths and mysteries. His songs and words are based upon Scripture.

His ministry is wide reaching, and has incorporated visits to schools, churches, conventions, prisons and the media. Working from a Sydney base, he makes annual visits to the United States, Western Europe, the United Kingdom and South Africa.

In recent years Nathan has completed a number of trips through the United States, Western Europe, the United Kingdom and South Africa. Having developed strong personal relationships with the groups who host him, he looks forward to visiting these friends year after year.

When asked about the motivating factors behind his ministry Nathan speaks of his conviction that meeting Jesus Christ is the key to hope and life. 'My aim is to share a beautiful and believable Jesus', says Nathan. 'I want people to experience the depth and wonderful recklessness of His love, that they may walk with Him through this life and the next.'

Under the influence of a Christian family, he began to follow Christ in his mid-teens. Since that time his relationship has grown significantly, through engaging with a number of kingdom-hearted friends and mentors. Nathan worships with a church on the north side of Sydney.
