Nathan Perrott

Nathan Perrott (born December 8, 1976 in Owen Sound, Ontario) is a professional ice hockey player in the National Hockey League.

Nathan was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the second round of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft, with the 44th overall pick. Unsigned by New Jersey, Nathan signed with the Chicago Blackhawks and spent 3 and a half years in the Chicago organization before being traded to the Nashville Predators in 2001. Nathan made his NHL debut with Nashville during the 2001-02 NHL season, registering 3 points and 74 penalty minutes in 21 games. Nathan continued to play within the Nashville organization before being traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2003 for Bob Wren. Nathan finished the 2002-2003 regular season with the St. John's Maple Leafs. In the 2003-2004 season Nathan was a long shot to crack the Maple Leafs roster but rose to the occasion. He spent the entire 2003-2004 season playing for the Leafs registering 3 points and 174 penalty minutes in 40 games. At the beginning of the 2005-2006 season was traded to the Dallas Stars for a 5th round draft pick. Nathan is known through out the NHL as being one of the top enforcers. He has racked up an astonshing 1573 penalty minutes including 71 goals / 72 assists for 143 points in his professional hockey career.
