Natalie Mendoza (born August 13, 1978) is an Australian actress and singer, born in Hong Kong and raised in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Natalie Mendoza (nicknamed: Natta, Nutty) was born on August 12th, 1978 in Hong Kong to a Filipino father and German Australian mother,^[1] but was raised in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia ever since she was a child.

In 1998, Mendoza formed a band with her sister Rebecca known as Jackson Mendoza. They had minor success releasing two singles that reached the Top 30 in Australia before disbanding in 2000, whilst Natalie was achieving great success in her television roles.

Mendoza appeared in Moulin Rouge! alongside Nicole Kidman where she sung "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" and "Material Girl", and united in an on-and-off engagement to Australian singer, David Campbell which finally ended. After Moulin Rouge!, Natalie began working on a solo album in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. When filming "The Great Raid", she became involved with her co-star Joseph Fiennes, and moved to London to live with him. In 2006, she appeared in the role of Australian immigrant and head of housekeeping Jackie Clunes in British drama series, Hotel Babylon. In April of 2006, she married Elliot Kennedy.

She was also the actress of Miss Saigon in the famous musical in New York.

Natalie was the "face" for Voodoo Dolls surf/ski apparel clothing line in London and Australia in 2003.
