[edit] History of the Game

Nashville Assassins was developed as a product of InterAction, LLC in November 2006. The game resembels the popular Assassins game that is played on many school campuses world wide, only this variation is open to all residents of Davidson County in middle Tennessee.

[edit] The General Concept

Each Nashville Assassins game lasts for three weeks. Contrary to most Assassins games, the game is played with a point system. The player with the most number of points at the end of the three weeks is declared the winner.

The point of the game is to "assassinate" as many players as possible in the three weeks by squirting them with a water gun, all the while avoiding being assassinated yourself. Each assassination counts for one point in the game. Depending on the type of game, opportunities for bonus points may be available.

Each player registers for a game on a website. There, they provide their name, email address, home or school address, and work address. The player then pays a registration fee of US$25.00. Once registered on the website, the player must appear in person one day prior to the start of the game to sign a waiver, provide his or her driver's license, and receive a packet containing their target's information.

At the end of the game, the winner is presented with the grand cash prize plus a Nashvile Assassins water gun. The cash prize of the game depends on the number of players, but is usually between US$300-500.

[edit] Global League of Assassins

Each Nashville Assassins game is governed by a group named the Global League of Assassins (GLA). The GLA are employees of Nashville Assassins that will handle disputes and other issues that arise throughout the length of the game.
