Talk:Narwee High School

[edit] Verifiable notable alum
Can somebody cite a source for the premier attending the school. I've found nothing. The only Google hits I get show the premier and the school mentioned in context of him being in government making a decision related to the school, but not him being from the school. I would rather not remove it, as there's little else besides this, but it will have to be removed if no verification is given. --Rob 05:52, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
- [1] says he attended "Narwee Boys High Schol". http://www.parliament.nsw.gov.au/prod/parlment/hansart.nsf/V3Key/LA20000405053 is also interesting. Kappa 06:04, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
- So, I can't tell if it was a boys school up till it was closed, or if it went co-ed, or if its even the same school. I'm confused now. --Rob 06:19, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
- It's the same place, this official document [2] uses both names when describing the site. Kappa 07:23, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks, I guesse the next key piece needed is what year did it open, and what year did it go coed. It seems it was boys-only for half a century, then coed only near the end (with an apparent name change). But, I don't see any reliable source on that yet. --Rob 08:53, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
- A reference for the premier's attendance is given- the Daily Telegraph article. Unfortunately however this does not appear to be online. The fact that he attended the high school has been well founded by numerous media reports at the time of his promotion Quaidy 21:39, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
