[edit] History
The school was established in 1950 as separate infants (kindergarten-year 2) and primary (year 3-6) departments. Students traditionally graduated to either Narwee Boys High School (prior to its closure) or Beverly Hills Girls High School. By the late 1970s, the school had become significantly run down, and was renovated in 1981. This involved the relocation of several of the weatherboard buildings, the merger of the infants and primary departments, the construction of new ablution blocks and library, and the carpeting and re-fitout of the classrooms. At this time, a school student was killed in an accident involving earth-moving equipment. Part of the former infants department is currently leased to a private child-care company.
