Nardin Academy was founded by the Daughters of the Heart of Mary in 1857. It is the oldest private Roman Catholic school in Western New York. The Academy includes a college preparatory high school for young women and a co-educational elementary school located at 135 Cleveland Avenue in Buffalo, New York. It also includes Montessori pre-school through 3rd grade, which is located at 700 West Ferry Street in Buffalo, New York. Emphasis is placed on educating the whole person.
