Nappy Valley

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Originally applied to specific areas of Battersea and Wandsworth, between Clapham Common and Wandsworth Common, south London with extremely high birth rates and a "cafe culture" of middle-class, affluent families. The borough of Wandsworth had the highest birth rate in Europe in 2004. This contrasts for example with neighbouring Clapham which has a very high proportion of single or childless young professionals.
