Namal Udugama is a popular Sri Lankan musician. His career started in 1992 with the smash hit "Samuganne Naa" (I will never leave you) [1] which was a heart rendering song of loneliness he wrote after his then girlfriend comitted suicide over her parents disapproval of the relationship. In it he sings "I will never say goodbye, I will never leave you, someday our thoughts and hopes will be fullfilled. We will meet forever in our rebirths"
