Nalin Pekgul

Nalin Pekgül, nee Baksi (b. 1967) is a Swedish social democrat politician. She was born in a Kurdish village in southeast Turkey. Between 1994-2002, Pekgül was a member of Swedish parliament. She is now chairwoman of The National Federation of Social Democratic Women in Sweden (Sveriges Socialdemokratiska Kvinnoförbund).
In November 2005 Pekgül decided to move away from the Stockholm suburb of Tensta because of perceived lack of security. [1]
