[edit] Merger proposal

The seperate Nakbe and Nakbé articles should be merged. -- Infrogmation 17:39, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

Good pick-up on these two, both well developed it seems. I propose firstly that the articles be merged under Nakbe (without the accented char), if we are to follow proposed guideline under discussion to not use spanish accents indicating stress on placenames coming from one of the Mayan languages, as in this case.
While there's some good material at Nakbé, I've some concerns on the map and illustration used there- although the images' sources are given, it's not clear to me that they are released under GFDL terms. It seems parts of the websites they are taken from note copyright, although they also mention something like 'ok to use for non-profit purposes, with attribution'- any opinions on whether these are admissable?--cjllw | TALK 08:02, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
I looked around at the images, they were uploaded by the same user, who hasn't been active for a year, and they appear to be taken from college websites. I don't think we can say these are GFDL unless we find it explicitly somewhere.Akubra 18:39, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
