Nakayama Grand Jump

The Nakayama Grand Jump is a Japanese horse racing steeplechase, held at Nakayama Racecourse every year in mid-April. It is run over a distance of 4,250 metres (2 miles 5¼ furlongs).
It is the richest steeplechase in the world, with a total prize fund in 2006 of more than £800,000. It is a Grade 1 race reserved for four-year-old horses and older.
