Naina is a Hindi movie released in India in 2005. It stars Urmila Matondkar. It is a horror film, sharing many similarities with the Chinese film The Eye. Its release caused controversy in India because the main character underwent an eye transplant before experiencing extra sensory perceptions in the film. This discouraged many people from receiving eye transplants.

Naina was five years old when she lost her eyesight and her parents in London during a solar eclipse. Twenty years later she goes through an operation, and it is successful in getting her eyesight back. Happy and grateful she leaves the hospital to discover the world.
However soon she begins to see things she is not meant to, something dark and supernatural. Terrified she searches for an answer to escape this new world...
