Nagara Havu was the first film of the famous Kannada actor Vishnuvardhan. Sir Puttana Kanagal made this film in a city which was made very popular by the song Kannada Nadina Veerara Maniya and Haavina Dwesha 12 Varsha. That place is the ruins of Chitradurga, a fort city in Karnataka, India.
