Nag is a male cobra in Rudyard Kipling's Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. He is the mate to Nagina. He hates Rikki. He and Nagaina plot to kill the people and Rikki-Tikki so that the garden can be theirs again, and so that their eggs can be hatched safely. He his killed by Rikki-Tikki in the bathroom while waiting to kill the "big man". Nag was thrown on the rubbish heap, where Nagaina mourns him. It is said that Nag was blown in half by the "big man's" after getting killed by Rikki-Tikki.
