N24 (Germany)

N24 is a German television station that broadcasts news and shows documentary in cooperation with the Discovery Channel. It is owned by the ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG conglomerate. Belonging to it are Sat.1 and Pro 7.

The channel N24 was founded in February 1999. In this time belonged to 100% to ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG. On 24 January 2000, N24 was the first time on air. In 2004 N24 was redesigned in hope to make the channel similar to big American news-channels.

The running slogan of the redesigned N24, in German, is "Wir kommen zur Sache," or, in English, "we come to the point."
