I'm a biology student from Finland. I've been creating, translating and improving articles related (mostly) to my home country and radio, my favorite hobby. I've also utilized my knowledge of CorelDRAW I gained in secondary school to draw flags (User:Mysid/flags) and to improve some graphics spoiled by inappropriate compression schemes (User:Mysid/vectors).

I maintain the articles on national parks of Finland. I also like to do newpage and RC patrolling (but occasionally get overheated, tagging all kinds of decent articles for speedy deletion – when that happens, just drop me a note).

On IRC (Freenode), I use the nickname Shastadaisy.

Sometimes I like to answer questions at the Reference Desk.
