Hello! Thanks for stopping by! This is the Pennsylvania Routes list. As you can see, the list is not yet complete, and when it is, will be quite a long list. The obvious goal is to have at least one article reach "special status", i.e. an article being nominated for good or featured article. For redirects, I am using the shields of the page that the link redirects to. The most obvious is Pennsylvania Route 9; I used the I-476 shield, because that's where the page redirects to. At some point, this article will list more information to make it easier to start articles.

I am going to leave the list as it is for now; I think we should work on the first 102 articles before we move on to the rest. --myselfalso 19:18, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

See User:TwinsMetsFan/PA Routes for what has been completed for redirects to articles. --myselfalso 22:51, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Double Routes

Some route numbers in Pennsylvania are used twice throughout the state. As far as I know of, there are two cases as such, both of each under different circumstances.

Pennsylvania Route 29 was recently merged from its old Pennsylvania Route 29 (north) and Pennsylvania Route 29 (south), as there are two Pennsylvania Route 29's. However, in the early days of the route number, they were actually connected. The articles were merged because both (north) and (south) are the same route number, just separated. Had they never been connected over its history, the articles wouldn't have been merged.

Also, take note that there are two Pennsylvania Route 97's. One is in Erie County and the other in Adams County. Neither have ever been connected, so Pennsylvania Route 97 in Erie County is listed as Pennsylvania Route 97 (north) and Pennsylvania Route 97 in Adams County is listed as Pennsylvania Route 97 (south). If at sometime they were connected, then the articles would be written instead of separated.

The articles on both Pennsylvania Route 97's have yet to be written.
